A great story of survival and revival - Rescued from what look like the swamps of South Carolina a 1972 Z1 !!

Scott Christy found this old girl laying in some ones back yard in South Carolina last year. Scotty was good enough to arrange the purchase and even dropped it off at the Port in New York for its trip down under. A mere pallet of bits is what it looked like. Nick-named "Swampy" we carefully brought her back to life and now she has been finished the new owner can enjoy getting out on the New Zealand roads with the "big four" No doubt he will rename her.

CB750 Restoration project - a 72 CB750K-2 NZ new to be restored back to its original condition

Written by Croz on March 10th, 2022.      0 comments

Recently I bought this NZ new CB750 from Kent who has asked me to restore it back to what it was. He could have sold it on Trade Me for good money only to find it parted out or just to sit waiting for someone with time money and energy to do the job.  Kent will see how it comes together over a short time as we have been out sourcing parts already. Its a promise I have made to him. Kent would have liked to do it himself but time run out so he can now sit back and watch it take shape.

Kawasaki triples to get the chance to be reborn or reincarnated...!

After many years my oldest and dearest friend has finally hung up his helmet and allowed me to purchase his collection of Kawasaki H1/H2/A1/A7 parts. He got me inspired to go racing back in the early 70's when we worked together, played together and even raced to together.  A big thanks Eric.

This is the largest motorcycle media outlet in France – the print magazines are on their knees, and this is the oldest (1997) and largest website. It’s a mainstream site, so the fact they reckon their readers are interested in this kind of motorcycle underlines how widespread the appeal of this kind of bike really is.
